I picked this up today after searching Craig`s List for a change.
It`s a 1976 Silver Plated 36B - A Closet Horn.
The owner played in High School then quit
Decided it was time to let go. Plays like a dream
When I got home I tried a couple mouthpieces and Meh?
Maybe I got a dud.
Then I put a Pickett 7D in and It lit up like a Christmas tree.
Some times you just get lucky

It may be distortion in the photos but the bell stem doesn’t look parallel to the slide.

BarryDaniels, It`s the photo. This horn looks like it was made yesterday except where the Left hand holds the horn

Congratulations! I've been looking into getting a 36B - considering downsizing from my 42 but I do want the valve. Looks like a winner.

I have noticed this phenomenon with cell phone optics before. I haven’t figured out the optics. I believe if the is not in the same vertical plane as rhe object being photographed, lines that should be parallel are no longer parallel.

Converging verticals; a common issue. The fact that the typical phone camera lens is on the wide angle side makes the effect more pronounced.
Here's an article talking about it:

Yes. The common 35mm fish eye lense photo made the horizon into a gentle frowning parabola. On the other hand, holding iphones “level” can result in many pictures of feet, instead of the intended sublect.

Craigslist has become unusable for buying horns. 90% of the posts are scams. There’s a post of my 3BF right now, every listing I’ve seen is a scam, giving me the same contact info

Glad to hear it’s just photo distortion.
Hi John. That 36 looks like a pretty good price. Maybe too good, eh?
