Okay, got kicked out AGAIN when trying to post a code from Imgur. This is a problem. Are you guys able to post from there without problem?

Here's what I did:

1. Go here: <IMGUR id="a/l3gj7">https://imgur.com/a/l3gj7</IMGUR>

2. On the right, click "embed post"

3. Paste that code as a code in a post here

4. Get stalled or kicked out

I don't see the embed post option on imgur.

But I can do this by using img tags and the direct path to the url

Strange - that's only the first image in a post of several images.

I only did the first. I basically went to the image path and then used the img tags, so you'd have to do that manually for all of them.

Imgur used to have a BB code ready in the embed panel, now it's a bit more convoluted to get to it. Hover over the image and a down arrow should appear in the corner. From that menu, select "Get share link." From there you can copy the BB version.

Not very intuitive.

That's helpful - but I'm hoping to copy the whole post (12 pictures as codes). I used to be able to do that in PhotoBucket until they disallowed it.

Ideas? I'd hate to do that with every single image for every post (but I will if I have to).

Hmm interesting. I've used the above code before with success on other forums, don't know why it doesn't work here. There's also a [imgur][/imgur] BB tag but I do not know how it works.

There's probably a setting we have to enable but I 'm not sure specificaly where.

I mentioned it before, too, but there's also a Imgur button we can install that should make this all easier. That being said, I don't know if it modifies the database files in any way.

We should investigate that.

I got the image location by right-clicking the image and put it between IMG tags.

Sure - I can do that - I'm hoping to find a way to post the whole album easily. When I post the code for the album I get kicked out of trombonechat or at the very least it hangs.

1) go to imgur.com

1a) log in if you aren't already

2) click on your username in the top right (YOU MUST BE IN THE BETA INTERFACE)

3) click on posts

4) click on "hidden." This will show your hidden albums.

5) click on the desired album

6) either copy the URL or click on the word "hidden" over on the right to copy the link to your clipboard/access advanced sharing options

7) post the link as-is into your forum of choice

Note: if the forum or site does not natively support imgur embeds, your best bet is to use the "embed post" option to explicitly create the necessary framework

I have a Yamaha Silent Brass. The electrical contact in the mute itself is spotty but works. It can get a bit crackly. I imagine a drop of solder would fix that. The electronic box itself is great. Batteries not included, dude.
