Hey everyone so i just got this very cool Conn Directors from a friend and i was wondering if anyone could help me date it.
The Bell has what looks like a 5 detached from the serial number so it reads like 5 664319
And then the slide which is a lot harder to read i think i made it out to be either a 6 5 or a 8 to start then a 3 then what is also either a 6 or an 8 then it obviously goes 589 so its like 6,5,8 | 3 | 6,8 | 589.
Sorry if that’s hard to understand on the slide part the “|” just separates the numbers since i think it could be multiple numbers it’s hard to make it out

2000 era bell. Slide may be same, mix-match at Conn, or likely replaced from student mishap.
Congrats! It's a nice sounding horn and great for learning. I have a 1990.
