I can't say enough about the creativity of Nathan's "salt-shaker" mute design. Mine is everything that he says it is, and great fun to experiment with. Changing foam inserts (and corks) is really easy, and you can alter the sound in a (limited) variety of ways. My blue tenor trombone Salt Shaker mute is very compact, easy to handle and to transport. :hi:
