I'm playing some big band concerts this week in NJ.
Wilbur Witteman Big Band / Lakewood Jazz. All free.

I am going to have to try to get to at least one of those concerts. I have played at all three venues. I particularly like the view from the bandstand over the water at the Bandon Road venue.

I played there last year, and the year before it was so windy we couldn't even consider playing.

I love big band music, and it's awesome that all the concerts are free. I'll definitely try to catch one of these, especially the one at the Lavallette Gazebo on Sunday it sounds like a perfect setting for an outdoor concert. Plus, a recording session in a gazebo? That’s pretty unique!
