Knowing full well that the moment I ship out the first item I'll get my first call for my first juicy bass gig in years. I am also open to selling the entire horn in a single transaction. The sum of the parts is a really great playing instrument that just needs some solder work and clean-up to be a giant slayer.
Happy to take and share additional images of anything specific.
Bach 50 slide section - probably from the 80s - very good action (8.5/10) no lacquer. Fixed original lead pipe still in place. Slide Dr alignment a few years ago. I am a meticulous with my slides and don't even believe in resting the weight of the horn on the slide while resting. Slide just washed out and put away dry. $400
Bach 50B2 open dependent section with main tuning slide - bought this from a busy TX opera player - upgraded linkages for the split triggers - the main tuning slide was shortened (not an expertly done modification) by the prior owner to compensate for classic monster mouthpiece flatness and has never been hard soldered back together - I've been playing it friction fit for years without an issue. Way more open than my prior set of Holton dependent valves - good blow and no noise when cared for. Spotty lacquer and some solder ugliness you will want to get cleaned up. I paid more than they were likely worth at the time, so letting this set with tuning slide sail off to a good new home for a loss @ $500.
Willson bass bell - this bell is unique and has served me well. At just under 10" it is a manageable size and sound is very malleable. Medium weight, not quite yellow, but not rose in color - hard to describe. I played bass almost exclusively for 5 years and almost always in an orchestral section - from Hayden to Prokofiev and Mahler, I was alway able to get the right amount of weight and crunch out of the horn with this bell. No lacquer. Only issues are a few slight mute kisses. $400
Pro-tec PROPAC newer style contoured bass case (blue interior) - great condition - I switched to this case not too long before I was asked to move back to tenor in orchestra, so it's mostly been used for storage at home and the occasional gig that required me to double. With back-pack straps. Currently retailing new @ $225 - take this one from me for $150.
Jo-ral bass adjustable cup mute - as new $75
Tom Crown copper bottom straight - some minor denting on the copper $50
I also seeking an alto at this time ... so trades or offers for an OK to good alto are welcome. I have a TIS Weril that I can buy at a good price, but am not in love with ... so a well used JP Rath or one of the Chinese ones that The Horn Guys sell after a good working over are likely the type of horn that hits my budget sweet-spot.
Shipping from Long Island (Westbury) or local meet to pick up. I am in NYC a few times a month for work. PayPal for shipped items, cash or PayPal for pick-up. Shipping not included in prices - I have a commercial account and will give you the exact price I pay ... I don't want to make money on the shipping, just not lose any.

Sorting through emails ... wasn't expecting any responses at all!! Patience is appreciated as I am quite busy with some errands and chores to help out my sick wife.
