Hi all,

Just seen that Brian Wendel of the Cleveland Orchestra has become a Bach Artist, just being nosy if anyone knows about what horn he's on - if it's a stock 42B or from an older vintage? His CD is amazing, and just listened to his CIM recital from yesterday and he sounds absolutely terrific. Cheers.

I'd imagine it's either older or he went to the factory to pick one out

Do you know what year it is, or if he did any customizations to it?

I don't. What I do know is that he bought a factory stock Corporation 42B off the used wall at Virtuosity in Boston awhile back, while he was there getting some work done on his other horns. He tells me he has since found another one that's even better, and the one I heard him play then is his backup now.
