in The Mikado, Nanki-Poo is disguised as a trombonist.

I actually was. :D I had the biggest crush on Jack Wild, who was the star of this movie. At the time he had just finished playing the Artful Dodger in "Oliver." hwlentz's post, above, reminded me of that. When I saw "Oliver," I thought Jack Wild was amazing. I was even in love with his name. And when I got the call to be in "Pufnstuf," which starred Jack Wild, I couldn't wait. But the day was a grind, and I couldn't maintain my excitement. LOL! :D

But in this shot, I was actually looking over at Jack Wild, who was out of frame, instead of paying attention to the "conductor," like I should have been.
