I currently have a Bach Bass with a 10.5 inch bell and I was wondering if any knows a place around Frisco Tx that will do that, and a place where it's not to expensive. I know that would be hard to find but, I'm only in high school so money is a little tight

Why do you want to cut it? I'm not sure any of the screwbell cases will fit an L flare.

I think the shires one fits a 10”. It’s at the shop now but I’ll get it back Saturday. I can measure if you remind me.

Mine does…. Fits the Holton 10” fine. Not sure about an extra 1/2” though.

I’m with Aidan, I don’t think any of the cases fit a 10.5 inch bell flare. 10 inch fits fine in the Bonna case.

According to the mb website, they apparently do fit 10.5 flares. Probably would be too tight for comfort though

Are you going to be flying by plane with your horn a lot or involved in a situation that requires a cut bell, or do you just want to cut it because that seems to be the thing to do right now?

be pretty easy to just wrap up the flare and throw it in a suitcase, though.

i was actually wondering if the OP was talking about *trimming* the bell, not screw bell converting it.
