No, it's not even an investment. Trading or buying any currency is only ever speculation, as currencies, and to a lesser extent commodities, produce nothing. Even gold bars, as valuable as they may seem, produce nothing. You will never get an earnings report or a dividend from a currency.
Could you make a ton of money from speculation on crypto currencies? Sure, but probably not. It's not really any different from hoping to make money selling off your wares to the next sucker in a pyramid scheme, or your tulip bulbs to the next sucker, or comic books.
So no. It is not a good investment or even actually investing at all.

Is there a reason that, spam or not, we can't see the original post? Why delete it but not the replies? Why not just delete the thread?

We have a 'bot that detects scammers. If the OP was determined to not be a valid poster he got suspended and all his posts were removed. Just as well; I wasn't planning to approve the original post anyway.
Also, posts that are not approved will not be visible except to Administration.

Moved this to the litterbox. The bots scan for the existence of titles they've put out so if it stays public facing, they'll send more spam our way as best I can tell so thought we should hide this
