Carbon fibre leadpipes

A friend was telling him about his new-to-him .508 Edwards. It came with a couple of Butler carbon fibre lead pipes. Unfortunately, they were threaded and I was unable to try them out. I was unaware that you could buy carbon fibre leadpipes.
I am probably in the market for a replacement leadpipe for my Bach 16M and I am curious about the Butler pipes.
Does anyone have experience with these? How would a carbon fibre leadpipe perform?

I had one for bass for a bit. It had a great response, sound seemed fine. However, I screwed it in a tiny bit too far and the threads separated from the leadpipe- now it's not even a paperweight, no way to use it safely without the leadpipe getting stuck in the horn.

I received a C-F leadpipe for my Bach 16 (the single bore model). I’ve put it through its paces but haven’t been able to try it out in ensemble playing.
Fits perfectly, came in a nice protective box. I’m happy with the service. So full marks for all of that stuff.
It’s the short (~ 5”) version, press-fit. Consistent sound through the registers, a little darker/more fundamental than what I think was a stock pipe (I’m not really sure what was in the horn when I got it. It was a little beat up and my tech suggested I replace it). Maybe a little easier up high?
Pretty subtle stuff.
