What is the difference between a Single radius and a dual radius hand slide crook?

Do they respond differently?

Single radius is like half of a circle. Think Kings.

Dual radius is "squared off," think Bach.

Yup!

Comparing Edwards crooks, the single radius crook is much smoother feeling, response wise, than the squared bass crook.

Edwards don't offer a single radius handslide crook. The "square" bass crook, and "less-square" tenor crook are not the same bore, so it is not an apples-apples
