I'm playing 1812 overture for a solo ensemble piece on the bass trombone, I was wondering if anyone on here had played it before and could help me out a bit, I've been playing bass trombone for a few months now and would like hold up my end of the group!

1812 is in Public Domain (i.e. not under copyright protection). The actual bass trombone part is available from IIMSLP. If you are playing some kind of arrangement, the "solo" you are trying to play may be something I don't recognize. The big moment for the bass trombone is the rendition of "God Save the Tsar" toward the end. It's not a solo since all the bass instruments in the orchestra are playing it.
