I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer on what the differences are between the international model YSL-882, and the Japanese market 882UII. I know it’s the 2nd Gen. from the 882U, but from the looks I can’t see much difference between it and the international model 882 besides the lack of a counterweight. Are there other differences in build?

Any insights would be appreciated!

As far as I know:

- Counterweight as you pointed out

- 8.5” bell of the 882UII VS 8.66” bell of the 882

- Case with shoulder strap

- Interchangeable leadpipe

The production of the 882UII is stopped when the 882 came out.
