Five or so years ago I bought my 2b from a shop here in the uk. I got a real bargain and think that it had perhaps been in the shop a while.

I’m interested as to how old it actually is. The serial number is 141889.

The Conn Selmer website stops the king serial numbers at 1986 and I know it’s much newer than that.There doesn’t seem to be another way of contacting Conn Selmer to ask them.

Any ideas as to the age?
