Greeting. Does anyone know how I can make the trigger a shorter throw?

I don't see any way to make the throw shorter. You make the throw shorter by either lengthening the part of the lever behind the fulcrum or shortening the part in front of the fulcrum. But the length is pretty fixed due to the way the linkage connects to the rod. You could place your thumb closer to the hinge when you operate it, but that might be uncomfortable. Otherwise you'd have to completely replace the mechanism with something else.

If the problem is that the final position of the trigger lever is too far over the bell brace, the lever could be bent a little more so that the final position is more "before" the bell brace. Or you could put a thick piece of cork on the paddle; maybe 1/4" (6 mm).
