Permissions message

I’m new and am wondering about a message in a pink box I see in some threads/posts:

“You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.”

I see it in this thread, for example:

<LINK_TEXT text="viewtopic.php?t=29575">https://trombonechat.com/viewtopic.php?t=29575</LINK_TEXT>

Is this something that will change with time or am I doing something incorrectly?

That has changed now.

We had to set 3 approved messages for "full membership" in order to control 'bots and spammers. This message puts you at the requirement. Enjoy the pictures and the ability to send Private Messages.

I am currently in the "non full member" situation. I have made 4 posts, although in the user control panel it states my total number is 2. Although, I have 3 notifications saying posts approved.
