Hello

Today i was wondering about this beautiful piece from Miachel Giacchino from the Pixar Film Up.

There is a lovely short trombone solo which i adore since the first time i heard it. I think andy martin played it who is one of my favorite player.

Does anyone know what mute he was using?

It must be some kind of older mute. Is it a solotune mute? Possibly a cup i thought later today. But which one? Or a straight mute from older era?

Took me a while to parse the headline... "Married Life" trombone solo, from the Pixar film, Up.

I do that a lot. Write live instead of life.. don’t know why. english is only a second language to me.
