Anyone using a Marcinkiewicz 6E or 6E-S? Like it? I sometimes find the regular to be just to be okay and the 6E-S too open on my medium bore. Both pieces seems to be very unbalanced, kind of hard to play and not so much room to color.
Thoughts?
I do like the way the 9B feels though. Rim is bigger than the 6E(S) but response is more lively. Is it the V-cup?. Anyone use one on their medium bore? Anyone use something else from the Marcinkiewicz line that's a hidden gem?

I use a Marc 4 on my large bore and like it very much. Its cup is fairly large, but not too deep. According to the Marc website the rim size is the same as the 9B, but the cup is shallower.
I'm considering finding a 9B to use on my euphonium.

The 6E and 6E-S are just not working out for me. Nothing against the design of it but it's just not for me.
I did pick up a set of 8H in both large shank and small shank. Specs on them are slightly bigger all around and some say the rim should be close a Bach 4 but it doesn't feel bigger than my 9B. I don't know how it compares to a 6.5AL as I don't have one anymore... Playing wise, the 8H feels more alive and responsive. the difference is so small with the wider cup but what a difference!
