Hi Everyone,

I was doing an Honor Band sectional and one of the students I noticed was missing their Gb paddle on their Yamaha YBL 830. I wanted to help find a replacement, I was wondering if these would do the trick?

Not sure if those are compatible but here are the part numbers from yamaha24x7.com in case those don’t fit.

WP921800: (paddle) BL830 LEVER2 FINGER PLATE ASS'Y SI-PTD

A3141221: Lyre Holder Screw - Nickel YTR/YCR/YMP-203M / YCL-221 *** subbed from A3141220

This is the yamaha parts catalog: <LINK_TEXT text="https://parts-search.yamaha.co.jp/html/ ... /index.php">https://parts-search.yamaha.co.jp/html/WIND_ENGLISH/index.php</LINK_TEXT>

The old part number was D9D41250 E FLAT LEVER ADJUSTING PLATE YBL-830

The new silver plated part number is WP921800 (#783182-) BL830 LEVER2 FINGER PLATE ASS'Y SI-PTD

I unfortunately don't know where to source it, as it is different from the lever from the 612 613H 620G plate, mainly because the screw is on the side instead of the bottom. I don't know if they are compatible.

You will also need :A3141221 LYRE HOLDER SCREW(BS) TR1310

Yamaha smartly uses the lyre screw for holding on both paddles on the 830, and pretty much all of their trombones.
Thank you so much!
I just realized, I own both a YBL-612 and a YBL-830. I will let you know later if the "Eb" paddles are compatible, even if not completely correct.
Thank you so much!
Ok, it'll fit! I have no idea why they changed the screw location from the bottom to the side, but that is the only difference.
