Hi there, I have put a post up on the classifieds but when I try to add an image it doesn't give me the option to select one, rather it comes up with "<IMG src="">[img]</IMG>". Does anyone have any tips?

You need 3 approved posts to be able to mount your own pictures in any post. You have now met the limit and should have no problem.
In all cases you can always add a picture that has a URL (i.e. is loaded on a computer somewhere on the WWW). You use the IMG tags:

I tried uploading attachments to the below thread, and kept getting server errors. I've uploaded many times before, so I know how to do it. My pictures are only about 160 kB.

As someone who has worked in IT, the first thing I'd check is if the partition designated to store these images on the server hasn't filled up. If it has: maybe idiot check that policies that auto-delete old files are working, especially if those files can be tied to the Classified section?
