Hello friends…
I have a B454 that seems to have issues w the water key cork/bumper (whatever you wish to call it) that seems to develop one corner that seems to get pushed/mashed out of round.
Due to the fact that the slide is inverted in the case, with the water key facing against the lid, I am inclined to believe it’s part of the lid pushing it in an odd way.
Anyone have same issue?
Yes, it’s housed the original hard case that has lasted 24 years!
Hopeful someone has had a similar issue and/or has helpful advice<EMOJI seq="1f62c" tseq="1f62c">😬</EMOJI>

I'll bet it's either bent slightly or not soldered on correctly to align the cork with the nipple.
Easy fix for a tech to reposition.
Also, the newer seal material I see being used is generally too soft and easily compressed allowing air/water to escape.
I prefer natural cork or a more solid neoprene.
