Thinking of selling...I want to gauge the interest in a Bach 42 Light weight nickel slide. I would put the condition at 9/10 both for action and looks save for a couple of small spots of lacquer wear. Any interest?

The 42 is a straight horn. Does the horn have a trigger? Roughly what year?

My impression is that trompanner is only selling his lightweight slide, not an entire LT 42 horn.

Yes, I see that now. I think you're right.

Indeed, just the slide section. Considering selling. Thought I would gauge interest here among an international coalition of trombonists.
As for year of construction, I would need to look at the serial number and look that up. Is there anywhere I can look besides BachLoyalist to date the slide by serial number?

Bach has them listed on their website, through 1994.

Can you post the serial number (X-ing out the last 2 digits)?...

I believe the serial number is 125XXX. Perhaps late 1990's?
Edit: Confirming that it's a 125xxx. So 1999-maybe 2001? The charts I've looked at only goes up to 1994.
