So I have two emails I need to get back to but I think I'm finally caught up otherwise. Thank you so much for everyone who has been patient with me. I have a few horns and misc. items that I'm trying to liquidate so I can reclaim some of my office space! I've posted most of these before but I don't have links at the moment for pictures. I'll be taking pictures or finding the links and posting them again hopefully by tomorrow AM.
There are a few things I'd trade for (at bottom). Will give a price break for anyone who buys a case with a horn.
Small Bore Horns
1. Shires T08LW Slide w/ Saturn Key, S1YM8 Bell, silver plated tuning slide, 2.5N leadpipe. - $1200 + Shipping
SALE PENDING
Nomenclature translation:
Slide is a lightweight (no oversleeves) and has a nickel crook.
Bell is a Yellow brass, 'medium' weight 8" bell
Leadpipe is made of nickel silver
The slide is in good condition, probably 8/10 but I've had smoother Shires slides. Most of the horn is raw brass; I did do an acrylic lacquering job on the neckpipe so that i wouldn't stain my shirt collar. The tuning slide is unlacquered, silver plate. I was planning on doing most of the horn but didn't have the funding for it and now I'm on a different instrument.
2. Rudy Muck Small Bore (485/500) slide section - Now $100 + shipping
SLIDE STILL AVAILABLE, KEEPING BELL SECTION
This is a great older style horn. The inner and outer slides are from an Olds Ambassador. Slide is a little scratchy but action is good on it overall. I honestly haven't even played it enough to break it in. I picked it up maybe 2 years ago and I've only played it once or twice since. It was assembled by a forum member prior to that so my suspicion is if it were played on more that the problem would alleviate itself.
This has an interesting interchangeable leadpipe system. I only have whatever came with it, for which I have no information. But my understanding is that any pressfit pipe would work that would work with a 485 upper. I believe it has a 7" bell.

3. YSL354 - $200 + shipping
Good shape, not much more to say about it. Comes with one of the older YSL354 style cases if you want it (the slender, black ones, not the larger grey torpedo shaped ones).

4. Generic Bach Small Bore Bell section - $20 + shipping
Update: This is a TB300 bell section
I have no idea where I got this from. I think it will interface with a normal Bach small bore slide but I can't guarantee it.
Plays pretty well too with a friction fit 354 slide as well.

Medium Bore Horns
1. YSL 646 - $500
The bell section is a little off angle... it has been reinforced. I put this up a few months ago and had some interest in converting it to a straight attachment; I can still do that... will just cost maybe $200 more and will take a week or two to get turned around.
Tuning slide is new.
Slide action is fine but it does produce a slight sound when you move it indicating that it probably also needs to be broken in. Maybe 7/10 action wise. It was a project horn. I was going to turn it into basically a 356 but I picked up an actual 356 that I like so no reason to keep it around.
Comes with the stock boxy case from the 1990s if you want it.
Forgot to mention the slide has a new crook and was aligned so it should be a-okay once it's been broken in. I forgot I did that a few months ago.

Cases
1. SKB Golf Case - $100 + shipping
I don't know the model # but this one is huge. The person I picked it up from covered the interior in foam so you can very safely use a gig bag in it. You could also remove the foam interior if you want to add a little more space.
2. Eastman Bass tenor case (Pebble Grey) - $130 + shipping
Good condition. Comes with backpack straps.
3. SKB462 - $80 + shipping
SALE PENDING
Good condition.
4. Bach 50B30 case - $10 + shipping
SALE PENDING
Exterior has some tears, wood underneath is fine. Would fit a huge horn.

5. Generic Gig Bag $100 shipped
Fits bass trombones; this is the "G" style, which has a slide compartment on the side.

Other
1. Boosey & Hawkes Flugabone - $200
Valves work smoothly but it has dents throughout. I covered some of the areas with black acrylic where they touch my hands or I might touch them so I didn't get raw brass on my hands.

2. Bach Counterweight - $20 + shipping - SALE PENDING
3. Bach 36 Corporation Leadpipe - $80 + shipping - SALE PENDING
Stuff I want (trades)
1. Yamaha Medium Bore Stuff:
a. Basically any medium bore (525, 500/525) Yamaha without F attachment (445, 645, others?). Either the bell section or the whole horn. Or really... just the neckpipe portion + bracing. (I'm making a neckpipe for a YSL356).
b. Also possibly a YSL356R (the YSL356 with a nickel slide and a red brass bell).
2. Student/intermediate trumpet in at least okay shape. (Yamaha or King preferred but open to others). - Acquired!
3. Elliot Bass Components: LB116 (lexan), LB M cup, LB10 shank. Or similar XB/CB series. (Don't worry wouldn't be my daily driver by any stretch... just something that can give me crunchy pedals when I need to record them.)

Is this one of the student/intermediate bell sections—usually stamped/engraved Bach USA?
Also, PM and email sent about another item. Thanks!

Update: I discovered the Rudy Muck bell section actually works swimmingly well on my Yamaha slide so I'm going to just sell the slide. New price for just the slide - $100. Can include the slide connector in maybe two weeks when I get it swapped out for the Yamaha receiver.

Is the Flugabone still available? From the pics it looks like the main dents are on the bell flare?
Do you have a decent case that comes with it?
I'm assuming that the horn is quite a bit like the old Old/Reynolds designs that Bach and Blessing later used.
Also, I didn't see a shipping cost on the horn.

Still available! Dents are primarily on the flare though there are minor ones throughout. It plays basically identically to the Olds I used to have. No case unfortunately. Shipping will depend on zip; if you send me the zip I can get you a quote if you're interested. Probably $20-40

Would the Flugabone fit into a small suitcase if you wrapped it with bubble wrap and perhaps some additional foam padding on the side?
BTW, my zip code is 52240.

It's about 17" x 8" x 12" so if yoru suitcase is larger than that, it'll fit no problem. I had another flugabone not too long ago that I had a 'toga' for it that was probably a trumpet toga at one point but hat a little slit cut so that the whole horn would fit.
Looks like USPS no-frills would be ~$25 to you (or probably anyone else in the mid-west who may be interested)
