Hi does anyone know if the f attachment slide on the Bach 42T is the same on the 42AF? Or if any other valveās tuning slide is compatible? Thanks

They could be, but they were made by different suppliers.

How are they different? Do they just not fit in each other?

42T wrap parts were made by OE Thayer and are much thinner wall thickness that the 42AF which use standard 42B inner f attachment tuning slide tube dimenions. Bach may have copied the OE bend radius but nothing else is the same. I will go check the bend radius later, its probably different too

Can confirm 42AF slide crook is not the same span as an OE Thayer crook, but they are close. Also, very different wall thickness as prevoously mentioned. Tuning slide tubing on the F attachment is not compatible. OE slide might fit in a 42AF but would leak like a sieve.
