For sale is my 1935 "The Olds" small bore tenor trombone. It's in excellent condition for its age. It has a dual-bore fluted slide (.495" - .510" I believe) which is smooth and has no wear-through on the inner tubes. There is plenty of lacquer wear throughout, but no significant dents on the horn. These models have a friction fit bell section, and no slide locking mechanism. 7 1/2" bell. It won't win any beauty contests, but it plays.
This trombone has a clear, resonant sound with great response and flexibility. Tone projects well, but seems not to get as bright as some other small bore horns. A fine all-around horn for jazz combo, big band, or commercial playing. Great for the student or pro who is interested in a fine historic horn that doesn't break the bank.

$275 shipped. Paypal.
Comes with the original case which is well worn, but still protects the instrument. No mouthpiece included.
