How do you add an image to your account profile ?

Hi- Just needing a little help on how I can add the below image to my Profile - I've tried a few times but cannot seem to download it into my profile picture.

I think we may still be experiencing issues with image upload in general.

For me it says it's disabled.
"The avatar functionality is currently disabled."
Edit: It's working for me now. Not sure what changed.

You can't link to a picture stored on your personal computer. It has to reside somewhere on the Web.
Image is added via Edit Profile, but as mentioned above there has been some problems with uploading images. Note that there is a size limit to the image (in pixels). If the image fails to load and you have enough posts for permission (3) try using a utility to shrink the image size.

On this forum, avatars need to be no more than 200x200 pixels and 24KiB(kibibytes).
I use Microsoft's Paint to quickly scale images for things like forum avatars. I usually save avatar as JPEG as it maintains quality while keeping the file size small.

I need help adding pictures of my FE & Sons Special US trombone. Can someone explain it as simple as possible please? I have read the posts and still dont get it.
