Hello!
I am needing assistance with fitting a Bach bell to an Edward's bell section. An issue I am running into is that the tubing at the top of the bell is too small to fit the main tuning slide tubing. Another issue is that the screws that lock on to the bell are just slightly off sized.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to correct this or know someone who can do the custom work to make the bell compatible.
Thank you!
(if needed I can post pictures for clarification)

Buy the correct parts and pay somebody to fit them to the flare.*
Cheers,
Andy
*it will probably work better if you have the person doing the fitting buy the parts, they will know what they are doing.

Different brands are generally not compatible with each other without more serious modification (like using a torch and new parts).

I believe last time I asked, Edwards sells mounting kits to make non-Edwards bells compatible with Edwards tuning slides, valves, and goosenecks. It would come with the bell-side MTS receiver/upper brace post (with threads) as well as the flange with the post for the main bell brace.
You’d need to remove the Bach modular hardware and align and solder on the Edwards parts (and then cleanup and buff and spot lacquer and roll your eyes because you missed a solder stain and accidentally lacquered in a finger print and then re-strip around the joint so you can make it look nice again)

Yes this has been discussed multiple times. Buy the parts necessary and have someone put it together for you. An experienced Tech will know how to do this job.
