For those of you who have experience making or using play-along tracks, are there conventions that you've found you like or don't like? This is for pitch-adjustable instruments and ear training - voice, winds, strings, etc. Any particular kind of waveform, or an amalgamation? Have intervals be just or slightly non-just? Vanilla MIDI or some more fancy sound library?
