For sale is a late 40’s silver plated 2B Liberty. I played a dance with this horn last week and it held up well on lead, within the section and for soloing. This instrument plays big with a lot of core to the sound, but brightens up quite nicely when you ramp up the volume. I think it slots very well in the upper register. In July it made a trip to the Slide Doctor where, in addition to the routine service, the outers were replaced. The slide continues to improve the more it gets played. There is some wear on the stockings but you can’t feel it. The case is a little rough and shows its age, but all the latches work, it doesn’t smell and it is the case I have been using. I play with a NeoTech grip but will remove that prior to sale. I trust the photos will answer any questions you might have, but feel free to contact me. I’m only selling because .500 horns seem to work best for me.

Asking $800 and we can either split the cost of shipping from Canada or work something out. I’m not averse to the idea of a trade if the right instrument shows up.
