Heard a wonderful 'Beethoven 9' over the weekend with the 'Maryland Symphony Orchestra'.
Liam Glendenning (1st), Jeff Gaylord (2nd), and Kaz Kruszewsk (Bass)
Excellent!
And, Liam played a beautiful solo in the 2nd movement of "A Joyous Trilogy" by Quinn Mason.
Great talents! Hard to find or hear anything better than what they did!

I've played with Jeff and Kaz before, both killer players! I don't know Liam.

Heard the Maryland Symphony do Bruckner #4 in the past year or two. The trombone section was great on that as well.
Cmillar…..are you from mid-Maryland? I’m from the Frederick area. I’m wondering if we know each other?

Depending on your point of view, and aspirations, the sheer number of exceptional players out there is either an inspiration, or a curse.
