Up for sale is a low mileage newer Elkhart Conn 88HYO! Great horn, but I'm on to CL valves now. Pics available upon request. Slide is 8/10 and valve is amazingly quick and quiet (I'll miss that). Details:

Your CL valve isn't quick and quiet? It should be. Perhaps it needs a tune-up / adjustment? :idk:

How do the yellow bell play compared to the standard rose brass? I didnt know elkhart did produce yellow bells on the 88s.

It's an Elkhart, just not the vintage Elkhart you're thinking of. Conn's are made in Elkhart for the past several years.
