Does anyone own any current production Yamaha bass trombone AND a set of digital calipers who can take some measurements for me? Thanks.

Looks like the 822G, and 835 use the same lower inner tubes, which are also the same as the 830. The upper tubes are different, and the 620 uses different types as well.
I'll see if I can measure my horns when I get home tonight.

The difference is the length the tubes are cut to, with the upper being shorter than the lower, for obvious reasons. All other measurements would be the same. So, if it happens the "upper tube" is OOS, you can buy the lower and trim it accordingly

Morning. Any chance you had a moment to measure? Thanks.

Thank you and sorry if it's a bother. OD only of the stocking and the somewhere else on the tube. An estimated overall length of the longer/lower tube will be great as well. I'm in no rush-next week is cool. Bill
