Conn 88H Slide Connection Query

I recently bought a new Conn 88H trombone and the connection to the slide doesn’t fit all the way down as it does with my Conn 8H trombone. Some of the thread is showing but the trombone still plays ok. Have I been give the wrong slide?

I can’t figure out how to attach a photo.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need 3 approved posts to be able to attach pictures. Sorry about that. But lately we have been having troubles with attaching pictures -- probably an issue with our allotted image storage.

I wouldn't worry about the threads showing as long as your bell to slide connection is secure.
