1937 Conn 70H Bass Trombone for sale. Incredible horn, and in great shape for an 81-year old horn. No dents, only the scar from a dent rolled out of the bell when something got loose inside the case many, many years ago. Silver plate with gold wash in bell; for some reason, the silver plate is wearing off on the bell throat and also where it touches your neck. Valve is excellent, slide is a solid 8 out of 10. Sound is fantastic; a very easy response with a malleable tone, an incredibly musical horn. The horn came from the estate of Everett Gilmore, tubist with the Dallas Symphony, about 10-12 years ago, and have played it very little since I acquired it. However, I have used it several times professionally with orchestras and big bands, and it really excelled in both situations.

I am starting my own business, and need some liquid capital for expenses. Since I have played this horn so little, I have decided to let it go. I am asking $1,200 obo... best serious offer, that is. Thanks so much!
