I have two lead pipes. One stanard and one classed as more focused. There is a difference in tone, although I find that hard to quantify. Are there other ways in which lead pipes alter the playing experience ? ie. Does a more focused ( tighter?) lead pipe affect the range, for example ? Will it / should it dictate mouthpiece choice ? etc etc.
