I bought two jars of Spitballs. One for small bore trombone, one for large bore. The large bore doesn’t go through my Conn 88H. The smaller ones go through my 6H with no problem. Anyone else have this problem?

I used them on trumpets but not trombones. A bone is twice as long and while it may go thru the slide ok your air may run out of force once it gets to the bell section. A swab and a long cleaning tool are probably best for the slide.
An annual chemical cleaning should take care of the bell.
Problem with the bell of a Bb / F is the larger bore past the valve, may lose air around the Spitalfields. Sure don't want one stuck inside

No, I am interested in trying spitballs but I haven’t bought any just yet. I had an idea they might be useful to remove water from a traditional wrap F-attachment—at least the first half if the wrap from the rotor to the attachments tuning slide—letting it exit there. And see how successful that might be. ‘Shrug.
I have a Blessing B88 similar in layout and size to a Conn 88H.
