42BOF F-slide out a lot

I'm test driving a 42BOF and like the horn, but I seem to have to pull the F slide out a lot. I prefer tuning to C, so I realize it's going to be out a bit more than if I were to tune to F, but this seems a bit silly. Thoughts / concerns?

Yup, it’s a short wrap. Very normal for it to be out that far.
