FS: SE Shires Bb/F tenor trombone. 8.5" 1 GM bell, TW47 slide, rotor (early Greenhoe) valve. Protec case.
This is a mainstream Shires .547 bore, orchestral tenor trombone configuration. The bell shows acid bleed around the rim and scratches in the lacquer. A couple of mute dings, but nothing major. The slide is Shires' Bach-width slide. (Says Shires: TW47. There is lacquer wear at the contact points. Two lead pipes: #2 and #3. I can't remember the specs on the tuning slide.
Everything works fine. I use it regularly in orchestra. This is not the Q model, or the Shires/Eastman model. New, this horn would cost about $4995 US now. I am asking $2,250 USD + shipping (about $100 for CONUS).
