Bb Tenor Horn - Sold

For sale is a Karl Deimer Bb tenor horn with all the nasally qualities and pitch issues you've grown to expect from this type of instrument.

I bought it with the idea of using it in German-style brass bands, then I remembered: I hate that kind of music!

It's in reasonably good condition, all the tuning slides work fine, as do the valves, $150 was carefully chosen using a Market Valuation approach to establish the total market value of the music such a horn is asked to play.

Takes a small-shank mouthpiece.

Cool, I love that music! And I was just in Karlsruhe for a week! :)

Do you know much about its provenance, or at least roughly when it was built? Does it have a case? And possibly... how much to wrap it in lots of bubblewrap and ship it to New Zealand? :)
