Signed up for second year of a volunteer Christmas Concert band. Last year was my first actual band concert in 53 years. That was high school baritone days. Last year I signed on for euphonium, went really well. Repeated euph request for this year, but put in I’d be available on trombone if needed. Guy took immediate note of that.

Never played trombone with any music except treble clef or my weekly improv playing off guitar chord chart. Not worried about reading the music, just open to any pointers for 2 hour practices and actual concert of getting the most out of the horn. No worry with endurance last year, so not expecting any this year on either horn I wind up on. Appreciate the experience in this crowd, like to take advantage of it.
