Bach 50 with Rath Threads for Leadpipe

Hi all, I've got a few leadpipes that I use with my Bach 50 that I'd like to be able to use with my Rath R9 but the Bach is press-fit and the Rath is threaded. Easy enough to have Rath collars added to the leadpipes but I don't think that will work well in the Bach - also I've wanted to add threaded coupler to my Bach for years so it seems like now's the time.
I checked with Instrument Innovations about their solder-on collar but their response is that, even with the bi-thread collar/adapter, it won't be a snug fit and probably not the result I'm looking for.
I could "shim" the pipes with teflon or copper tape but that always seems like a temporary solution. I'd rather just have things set up to be interchangeable.
Any other ideas?

I use teflon tape on press fit leadpipes for my Raths. It’s a compromise but they play well with no leaks. Pressfit is the way to go if you’ve got different branded basses!

It shouldn't be that hard for someone who's good with a lathe to make a solder on receiver with Rath threads for your Bach slide.
