FOR SALE: BACH-WARDS TENOR TROMBONE
Heavily customized Bach 42B with two Edwards tuning slides. Bell is Corporation rose brass, made 1979-1980.
Slide purchased at Bach factory in 1988; has finger ring and Amado waterkey. Valve section is O.E. Thayer Corp.
Valve made in 1986, installed by Jim Becker in 1987. Custom-designed short throw lever by Chuck McAlexander.
Takes Edwards tuning slides and includes two: one dual-radius rose and one dual-radius yellow. Both tuning
slides are shortened so that the instrument doesn't play flat like most Edwards bells on Bach slides do.
Leadpipe system is old Bach collar-style that tightens down over receiver.
Condition is Very Good. Some lacquer wear and a little red rot, especially on the rose tuning slide.
One-of-a-kind instrument played professionally. Unique, warm sound and open feel.
Price: $3000. Can include a Bach branded "Dog Coffin" case for $50 more. Can include original Bach Short Open
Leadpipe for another $150; also have an original Bach Long Open pipe I can add for another $100.
Price does not include shipping. Will send pictures on request. Will ship to CONUS; will consider other
destinations if I know you personally or know someone who can vouch for you.
Price is pretty firm; willing to consider discount on multiple purchases. Excessive haggling
and lowball offers will receive criticism. Forms of payment: PayPal Friends and Family only (the fees are
too high otherwise), Venmo, Zelle, cash. Will consider check or money order if I know you personally.
DM or email if interested.
