$200
Bob Reeves/Brassark CV2
Overall very good condition, no dings/scratches/plating wear but shows signs of use (insertion marks, marks on the rim you can see in certain light but not feel) as it’s been my daily driver for the last year or so. IMO, this is a great 95/0Gish piece with a shallower cup and cushier rim than many of the other popular offerings in that size range. This is the lighter CV2 model.
$115
Laskey 93D
Good condition - there are some scratches on the shank, some of which going through the plating, and a few very small ones on the rim/where the rim meets the outside cup (none of which deep enough to feel or catch with a fingernail). A nice mouthpiece that I wouldn’t mind having around as a backup, I just can’t stand some of the thin/really round rims.
$90 or $130 w/DE rim
Griego Bousfield O3 threaded for DE SYM/SB rims
This is an interesting one I picked up and is in good condition - the threads fit DE SYM and SB rims (MB/LB rims work but have a lip where the rim meets the cup), but the fit gets a little tight towards the bottom. I’m not sure who cut the threads on the underpart, but it looks like some material was taken out of the cup (possibly to accommodate the larger rim ID?). The insertion depth is also noticeably deeper than normal, but I don’t know if that’s normal for the Bousfield pieces. Shank is round but there are a few marks that look like plier marks (but aren’t very deep) towards the throat - doesn’t effect how it plays.
All that aside, this plays rather well as a doubler piece and I’m sure it would work well with a tenor rim as well. I would be willing to include the lexan SB110 rim I use on this for an additional $40 (not looking to sell separately)
Interesting trades +/-$$$:
Griego Markey 90, EC3 and 4
Greg Black contra mouthpiece
LI brass contra mouthpieces or symphonic 900/950
Edwards B2, B2L (10” or longer), B2SS sterling
O’Malley VG50 leadpipe
Brad close/brassark MV50 in seamed copper or sterling (WTT seamed yellow MV50 if that’s of interest)
