I’m seeing on Facebook that Manny passed? Can anyone confirm?
If so , sad to hear. Appreciate his contributions towards the craft and art of building trombones.

Sad, thanks for sharing!
I never got to meet him although for a long time I lived in the same region.
I guess his horns may become a bit of a collector's item.

Mani was a friend of mine, we shared rooms and cars when travelling to ITF's and I would call on him when I was passing on my way from my cottage in Finland to home in the UK. I was palnning to call again in 3 weeks time. This is a real shock to me. He was a super nice guy, never understood how such big hands made such nice work!! I was planning to ask him what instruments he had left with a view to buying one to mark our friendship.
He was a larger than life character that will be sadly missed, especially at ITF's and especally to all the Williams fans out there.
RIP, I guess that old Rover won't go much further now my old friend... Doug
