Fits models 42A (Hagmann), 42AF (Infinity Axial Flow), 42T (Thayer), 42BO (open wrap) & 36BO (open wrap)
New (2013) style case introduced along with the Artisan series tenors. The C1867A is a shaped woodshell case, with a slimmer design that is more compact than traditional rectangular "coffin" cases. Modeled on the design of the early 1920's Bach cases, this case features the familiar brown leather trimmed exterior with brass latches and hinges. Solidly built, this case is easy to carry, easy to use, and provides lots of protection for your horn. Inside, the case is padded and covered in a modern dark blue microfiber. Features include:
Hard shell wood case.
Slim shaped design.
Brown covering with leather trim.
Two padded leather covered handles - one on top and one at the end.
Two large metal latches.
Three large metal hinges.
Metal bumpers on four sides help protect body and trim.
Padded, microfiber covered interior.
Fits all valve and wrap configurations, including straight, rotary, Thayer, Hagmann, Infinity, etc.
Accomodates up to a 9-inch bell.
