Up for trade:
Minick one piece Beryllium Bronze 9.5" bass bell with Shires fittings.
Because of the conversion to Shires fittings, the usual Minick engraving is not present. Here is the history of the bell as I know it. I have played this for about 10 years. I got it from Bob Weller, and based on a thread on the old trombone forum when I got it, Jack Schatz was another previous owner. This thread on tromboneforum.org is old enough I do not believe it is included in the archive on this site.
There is some evidence of a repair around the rim from before my ownership, which I tired to capture in the photos. This plays well, but I have found another bell I like a bit better, and don't want this just sitting around.

For a trade, I'd be looking for
- Brass Ark NY50 and/or MV 50 drawn yellow brass leadpipes
- Shires BGB tuning slide (Bass, gold brass, B taper)
For a sale, I'd be looking for $1,000 with buyer paying shipping.
Happy to consider offers

Update on trade: I ended up getting a MV50 leadpipe, so I would no longer be looking for that.
Looking for tuning slide, plus NY50 Drawn Yellow pipe. Would be open to NY50 and MV50 seamed pipes as well (yellow or other alloys). All pipes would need to have Shires threads.
Send me your offer!

I have a NY 50 Seamed Copper leadpipe w/SHires Threaded Collar an.A RCS ( REd BRass C SHires Bass T Slide) also a CS( Yellow C Bass T SLide) and a HOlton 1960's TR185 SIngle Radius T SLide with SHires TUning SLide parts. WHat Valves were you using when you played this bell? Can you describe it's playing Characteristics . Is it more a Jazz or CLassical Bell? Interested ? The Leadpipe and One Tuning slide for the Minick Bell? AS I understand it, this what you are seeking as an Equal TRade for the MInick Bell

Pretty sure OP is looking for the parts to be part of a partial trade... so parts plus cash.
If OP is looking for an even trade... I'll buy all the parts brand new for him!!! (seriously I will) A new tuning slide and leadpipe is much cheaper than the flat $1000 asking price.

Mr Deacon is correct. I am thinking parts plus cash adding up to $1,000

I switched to this from a BII 1Y bell originally. I would say this lends itself more to the Orchestra/Classical world than Jazz generally.
Also, here is the setup I was using with this bell.
Shires Yellow B taper seamed tuning slide
TruBore valves
B62 slide (and a 62-78 slide for about half the time I played this)
A few different leadpipes: Minick C, Minick BO, Shires B3
