PLEASE DELETE

I wish to purchase a gently-used Edwards T-STDN, Edwards T-STD, or Getzen 3047 hand-slide. My first choice is an Edwards slide, but I would gladly buy a Getzen 3047 slide for the right price; I realize the latter is a rare find separate from a complete horn.

Cosmetic condition is second to mechanical functionality; But it would be nice if it looked good too. NO stocking-wear is acceptable, UNLESS it is a real bargain!

A new Edwards T-STDN is $1135. So, I figure 60-90% of that value—depending on condition—would be an appropriate price range. That being said, $600–900 is my budget for a used slide. Much more than that, and I might as well buy new and get the factory warranty. Then again, there is Edwards' turnaround time...

Please let me if you have one of these slides to sell, or information on where I can find one. Feel free to contact me via email or PM. Email will elicit a faster response. Thanks for any help!

Just FYI, the 3047 slide would need a new tenon in order to be compatible with the same setup. Not a super spendy change.

Yes there are. But unfortunately, not one that I’m looking for. I want a large bore (.547”), narrow slide, with tenor crook—essentially a Conn-style vs the Bach-style (bass crook) or dual bores they’re offering. Thank you so much for trying to help though.

For what its worth, the STD and BC slides are the same width. Only difference is in the crook ID.
