Brian just mentioned in his reply to one For Sale topic that it's not very obvious which section a post is in. How about making the "Posted in __________" bold? (Not "Posted in", but just the section name.

Also, "Mouthpieces" appears exactly the same under "Gear" and " Classifieds.". Maybe make it "Mouthpieces for sale" or "Mouthpieces etc." or even "Mouthpieces and Leadpipes" in Classifieds.

And...

In each post the name of the poster is so small and up at the top of the box above the post. For better visibility can it be bigger, and/or moved down, centered or at the bottom?

1) So when you check out the unread posts, for example make the "In Mouthpieces" be bolder or in the thread itself perhaps? That might be possible. We can theoretically do anything we want with the PHP but then we'd have to change it when we update it. It becomes complicated but there may be other alternatives. Brian and I were looking at themes a few weeks ago and there are some paid, but highly customizable themes out there (ca. $17/yr for support) that might be worth trying. That could solve multiple issues at the same time.

2) How about: "Classifieds: Mouthpieces", etc. etc.? Other thoughts anyone?

3) Same thing as #1, though I was doing a search and it turns out that may be an option in ProSilver (which is the stock phpBB theme). Which means it is likely possible in our current theme since it inherits from ProSilver but I didn't see anything. I can investigate further later this week!

Yes, I like the idea of "Mouthpieces for Sale" or similar. Classifieds: Mouthpieces is also good.

I finally got around to making this change. I just prefixed the classifieds forums with "(Classifieds)" so that it's clear that you're looking at a classified (though not the other way around per se. It's an easy change to revert if we decide we don't like that though.
