Central Florida Big Bands

Hello all. Does anyone know of good big bands in Central Florida?

I've subbed in with the Orlando Big Band in the past. Great group of musicians & singers who play regularly around town. There was an opening not too long ago in the bone section that I respectfully declined due to my choir commitments. It has been filled as far as I know.

You could also check with the bands at Valencia College and Seminole State College.

I've also been on the hunt, and what I've found is that around here, cover/wedding/top 40 bands are much more prevalent. Not sure if that's something you're interested in.
Here is a list of Central FL "big bands". All of these are "Central FL" because there really AREN'T that many big bands or even party bands directly in Orlando.
Brown Bag Brass Band

Jammin' Jambalaya
Z Street Speakeasy Band
Jazz Phools
The Crew Big Band
Some wedding/cover bands:
Elite Showband
Bay Kings Band
The Danny Bub Combo (Tampa-based)
There are more certainly, but...honestly a lot of these are quite heavily sublisted already.
If you haven't already, join some facebook groups like Gigs 4 Grabs or Orlando Bands & Musicians, + many more.
